Congratulations on you upcoming WLS Gail.  I am so excited for you.  This has been a wonderful "ride" and I feel so much better and the weight just keeps falling off.  I had my lap RNY in November of 2008 and have as of today lost 56 pounds.  No  complications, problems at all and I hope it stays that way.  This was my present to ME on my 66th Birthday.  You are going to do just great.  Keep up posted, please.

A Happy Hug,

Sandy

Your gonna do GREAT. In my opinion, the pre-surgery liquid diet was the worst part because I still had my hunger and eatting compulsions. By the time summer comes you will feel yourself feeling younger and healthier by the day. Your almost there !!Blessings

Hi Gail,
Congrats on your surgery. We all had the same feelings, but I was so confident about my surgery and Doctor that I knew I would be fine. I have Asthma, had a pacemaker and I am 55 years young and Viola I had this surgery and I have had no problems . I started at 275 pounds and today I weighed in at 183 at my Doctors.
I want to be around for my kids and grandchildren and this is the best support, you could ask for, is this forum. Just be positive , hold on and enjoy this Journey. Moving over on the Loser's Bench.

Hug back at ya,
Karen B.
