It's Sunday! How's life treating you?
Whew! So far so good. We came over to watch the girls for the weekend. Erin and Josh left yesterday about 11am and we're doing fine. Both babies feel so much better than a couple of weeks ago. Hope they don't catch anything else for a while. But with going to daycare as my cousin Pat says, it probably won't be long til they get the newest "daycare virus du jour."
Yesterday afternoon we decided to go for a drive at naptime. Bottles, diapers, cheerios and away we went. They fell asleep almost immediately and we took a very leisurely drive out in the country. The sun popped through enough to make it a pretty drive, very little traffic, rural scenery, lots of evergreens. Pulled into Walmart in about an hour, each of us got a baby and a cart. We strolled the store, picked up a few items, and headed home. They enjoyed looking at everything. Erin doesn't take both of them at one time, so it was a treat. Came home to bottles, dinner, tub time, and bed about 7:30. Hope today goes as well!
We weren't planning on taking them to daycare tomorrow but Erin said she thinks we'll be ready for it and they have to pay anyway to the tune of $60.00 per day. Ouch, and that's cheap by Seattle standards.
Nothing else going on in my world. Will try to get some new pics today, but won't get them posted til we get home.
Trying to finish taxes. I've always done ours but with selling one house and building another it's kind of hard this year. Not sure what I can deduct from the sale of the old one. Need to ask a few questions before finishing up. I have a lot of charitable deductions. I saved all donation receipts but need to itemize them on Turbo Tax. I'll probably get audited because it's about $2500.00 worth but bring em on. I've got my receipts and if anything I underestimated the values!
Have a nice rest of the weekend.

We are back in Texas, or rather still since we started home from Az we got to Tex and we need at least 2 days to get back home on the trike and is hard to line two days up from here to there that both areas arent haveing rain....guess we waited a couple of days too long. oh well we will make it just want to get home now that we are this close...got a lot to do .....from the ice storm they had a couple of weeks ago...lot of limbs to pick up and a couple of trees to probably go ahead and get cut down. but it will be there when we get t here.
we will need to get our income taxes done too. since we have the rental house now dont know how that will affect things but i am like you i have all reciepts of everything we have done on and to it to get it ready for someone to live in....and man it was a lot ...

I slept until 7:30. Quite a big deal for me who is usually up before 5:30. Felt good, but now my whole eating/drinking routine is off. Oh well, one day does not a life make.
Saint Bella Sunday is what we're calling these days. It's our only day off together to get things done.Gary needs to start taking photos of our new packaging so we can get at least two fragrance lines onto etsy.com this week. $$ is getting crucial, so we have to start getting this thing going or the funds left in the business acct will dwindle to nothing. We're making up some "grab and go" gift bags for the salon for Valentines day, so maybe that will help.
The weather this weekend has been wonderful, but storms are predicted for almost the whole week to come. All the windows are going to be thrown open to let in this nice clean AR air. Nothing makes a home smell better than real air!
Gotta run....you all have a wonderful day today and know I love ya!

A whole lot of snow is gone this morning since we got up into the low 50's yesterday.....nice! All next week looks pretty good with temps in the low 40's and near 50...I know, I know, it's temporary, still more winter to come I'm sure, but it's good to know there really is grass under all that dirty white stuff.
Off to early church as my choir is singing this morning.
We are doing "Blessed Assurance" an old time favorite.
We will also sing at the beginning of the 10:30 service.
Nothing much on the agenda today or the whole week for that matter....last week was so full and busy, seems like kind of a let down.
Had lots of deductions on my taxes too, but it still wasn't enough and ended up with the standard deduction anyway. Should have my refund in my checking account by this coming Friday. Hoping to get a new LCD TV and stand.....lots of sales going on now.
Better have some breakfast -- think a protein shake is in order this morning.
Have a wonderful day all,
Pat R.
