Thanks for Asking. Baby Hunter is HERE

Yes, He is here, Mom and Baby healthy. Hunter Nathaniel S. 1 Pm Feb 3rd. 6 pounds 2 oz..19.75  inches long. 6 POUNDS !!!!! You know from my stories that if anything can go wrong in the health department with my Liz it will. But his birth was smooth, long induction but only 2.5 hours of hard labor.Great for a 31 year old first timer. He looked and did so well after his birth that they left him in the room for a couple of hours before taking him back to the nursery for all that is needed to do.No premie problems at all. I bet if he would have cooked another month he would have been a 9 pounder. He has lots of long dark hair. They are hoping it will be red. Liz had scads of black hair at birth but turned into a redhead within a month.  I left the hospital about 5 last night, never been so tired in my life, I actually feel asleep in a bath last night, woke up when water turned cold. 
We are sooo Happy and Blest.. THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and positive thoughts!!! 

 Ohhhhh    HOW SWEET ! ! !     I love babies....

I just logged onto OFF, and yours was the first post I saw, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you for sharing your joy with us. I takes me back to 8 months ago when my little "Z" was born, and there just isn't a feeling like it.

I have redheaded girls and they have given me the most beautiful grandbabies  - Steele is now 7 and a strawberry blonde - Mattie is almost 2 and certainly a redhead....

No, my 6th. I am very close to 2 of the others. Hunter is my only daughters first child( she was told she would never be able to carry a baby)  Every one of them  is special and in my eyes can do no wrong, but this little guy is a genuine miracle to us..

Congratulations Jean....I just love the name too.  I have one grandchild, Haylee who is 9 (she put her pic in my avatar!!)  Don't think there will be any more.  I have several step-grandbabies but never get to see them.......(long story).  Grand children are truly a blessing so enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
