Scared and excited all at the same time
There are so many better friends than food, and they are all right here ... if you ever need support, pick up the phone and call. I do, all time. I'm 4 years out, and boy, I have been grazing while I've been stuck at home recuperating from knee replacement surgery. I've been struggling. It has been too easy to grab food because I haven't been able to do much ... but you learn other ways to cope, you find other friends, better friends, truer friends.
Make the call ... WLS really is an exciting thing. I was never scared, just excited. I was ready the moment I signed up ... but unfortunately, my bariatric center screwed up my insurance and made me wait a year. But in the end, it was all worth it.
