Dear Jacki. You too are going through so much right now. Of course that is when the ugly food dragon digs and picks at us.
I like your determination, and know you will do better, why?? Because you really want to,and you recognize your behavior for what it is.
Changes in life seem tougher for me as I get older, perhaps because I know I have to accept changes that will be for ever.
We can do this, together. You have come so far!
Keep going, and talk about it,you have a lot to offer.
Be blessed!

Good morning to you and to Rufus also. I will miss you in the morning but do understand just what you are saying. I hope that things work out for you both and look forward to still chatting with you even without starting this thread.

Today is a bit better for the food. My body is feeling a bit better. The pain is there on occasion and so I am going to give eating more of a try today.

B: sf oatmeal with 1/4 c sunflower kernels
S: applesauce
L: whole grain muffin with cheese

Have a great day. I hope that LilyRose is back to being her sweet self and tell her that Misty sends kitty hugs to her. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile~it will bring so much more happiness to your life and to someone else's too.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Nancy,

Thanks for doing this thread while Linda was taking a break.

Well, I saw my opthamologist yesterday and found out that my corneal cyst has not returned.  My eye is just dry and irritated.  He put a plug in one of the ducts that drains tears from the eye in the hope that my eye will stay more moist and less irritated.  So far I'm not thrilled with the plug because the eye now seems constantly blurry with tears.  And, the doctor told me that I have the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes.  I said, "But I'm only 55!"  He said that cataracts are quite common at my age, and my cataracts are smaller than average.  There's nothing I can do about it - I refuse to worry about it - but I left his office feeling elderly.

B: peanut butter protein shake w/ banana
S: iced skinny latte
L: turkey a la king, sauteed mushrooms
S: olive cheese spread w/ AkMak crackers
D: ham w/ apricot glaze, cauliflower & apple salad
S: chocolate protein bar

Oh my gosh Jean, I saw my opthamologist yesterday also. I also have cataracts that are not a problem yet. You are lucky with the corneal cyst. I had one when I was three and back then they cauterized them. Of course it left a scar on my cornea and I have never been able to see much out of that eye. I've never given it much thought until the last few years as my vision in my "good" eye deteriorates with age. I'm glad yours did not come back.
