What Are We Eating and What's Eating Us- MONDAY!
Nancy,
Our puppies were 6 weeks old yesterday. They weigh 8-9 lbs each now, which is what our pug weighed when she was 9 MONTHS old! The weather was mild, so we took them and their mom outside to play and they all had a blast.
I have an appt. with my opthamologist today. He's a good doctor but has the worst-run office of any doctor I've ever met (and I told him that once). I'm bringing 2 books to read, water, and snacks because usually I'm stuck in his waiting room for hours. I've put this appt. off too long and have just got to deal with it (I had a corneal cyst removed a few years ago and it has come back).
B: chocolate raspberry protein shake
S: scrambled egg beaters
L: brown sugar & mustard salmon, grapefruit & avocado salad
S: protein bar
D: turkey a la king, sauteed mushrooms
S: SF banana fudge pudding

Barbara,
Here's what I put in the shake:
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 c. frozen raspberries (I didn't thaw them first, so they made the shake thick and cold)
1 packet Splenda
Whiz in blender until smooth.
It's very tasty!
