What Are We Eating and What's Eating Us-SATURDAY!

Greetings, Family!

Friday was a busy day and, for some reason, lately I seem to tire out alot easier. And Rufus, my pouch, has lost any desire to eat at all. There was a time, I'd have offered my right arms to feel that way but now, I struggle to force myself to eat.  I am fortunate in that I never tire of eating the same old thing (my home made soup) all the time..I do not have hunger on the best of days.  But now, I just don't feel like even trying to eat....I don't know why this is happening.  I must make that appointment to visit my doctor soon.

This weekend, I intend to stay home and relax and read.  Im in the middle of three books right now - "Silence Speaks"... and Eckhart Tolle's  "The New Earth" and Edgar Cayce's "Atlantis".

This is my intention for Rufus:

B    Matrix hot chocolate protein drink

S   crackers and cheese

L   home made turkey soup

S   crackers & cheese

D    chili

S    fruit

Same old, same old..but Rufus doesnt complain about that as a rule...but lately he just doesnt feel too impressed with much of anything.  In fact, I often feel BETTER before eating, rather than AFTER.

But I will make a concentrated effort to work on this.

Happy SuperBowl to those who enjoy it!

Monday is GROUND HOG DAY...is it SPRING yet???

 Hi Nancy and all,

I've been so tired the past week.  Not sure what was going on but now I've been hit with a horrendous head cold.  I haven't had a cold like this in years.  I've been tossing my big bathrobe in the dryer to warm it up then curling up in it under the comforter.  A year ago I would have smothered from the heat.  Now, it feels soooo good.  LOL

I've been busy with two of my sewing groups this month.  We are having a sewing Expo here in town.  It is the largest one in the US.  There are larger quilt shows in the US but not sewing.  People come from all over the states to attend.  We have two hour long classes all week.  I'm helping one of my groups set up and run a booth.  It is amazing to see such talent among the women... and men.

Food has become a real issue with me lately.  I never know what I'm going to eat from day to day.  Tues I go to a specialist to see why my blood sugar levels keep dropping so low.  I feel like I'm constantly eating to make sure I don't drop.  My PCP said it is too low and referred me to the specialist.    I try to eat a carb and protein each time.  I've put some of my weight back on but right now I'm more concerned with the sugar levels than the weight.

Wow  I don't post often but when I do... sheeeshhh I get long winded...    Have a great Saturday.

Morning to you Nancy and Rufus. I hope that the week end goes well for you both. I think that my Harpo is feeling a tad better. It seems like about time to me. When you feel under the weather time seems to drag at times.

Here it is for the day for Harpo and I.

B: sf oatmeal with sunflower kernels
S: applesauce
L: muffin with cheese
S: slim fast low carb shake
D: fi****hink with veggies (I crave fish and Bill loves it too)
S: sf pudding

Have a great day and will meet you back here tomorrow. I am sending love and hugs to you.

BTW~how is LilyRose doing? Misty sends her healing hugs.
