What are We Eating and What's Eating Us-FRIDAY!
Happy Friday, family! Wow, it's cold here and the wind cuts right thru my warm winter coat..its long and dark grey, down to my ankles...I wear a warm black woolen shawl over that, my black fur hat and my long black leather gloves with fur cuffs...and Im STILL cold!
Where did the week go? Im writing this early because Friday will be hectic for me....I visit with Mother and take her some paperwork that she wants, stamps and cash to play bingo, some toiletries from the pharmacy and some vitamins. At 89, all she takes is a blood pressure pill. So my day starts with shopping at aboput four places for Mother.
Ive also bought another bright red amaryllis for her to enjoy. I did that last year as well...she had such fun reporting it's daily progress to me. Maybe this will seem more like Spring for her..she seems to hate to see the snow...yet this puzzles me as she does NOT go outside in the winter nor does she drive. ah well.
I also have two business meetings and an appointment to see my friend, a hypnotherapist. Then dinner with mother and home to feed the guys too.
Im headed to bed early tonight(Thursday)...Rufus isnt feeling very well today at all. I hadnt been able to eat much today ...but THIS is what I have planned for Friday:
B Matrix hot chocolate protein drink
S multigrain crackers & cheese
L home made chicken soup
S multigrain crackers & cheese
D home made meatball w/a bit of gravy
S fruit
Nancy B & Rufus
The cold seeps into my bones no matter how many layers I am wearing. The only way to keep the cold at bay is with outside warmth. I have a heating pad on the stool under my desk. Socks and slippers don't work, that pad helps my tootsies stay warm.
B- cottage cheese, berries, Kashi
L - my client wants to go out, her choice , so ????
D - chicken & green beans
S - apple & peanut butter
Take care all
Annette
I'm up early, woke at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. I've asked for an extra hour of work because I am just buried in files, but when I left on Wednesday they hadn't given me an answer yet....so we'll see today.
If they do give me the extra hour I will need to get up earlier anyway.
Seriously trying to get back on the program by eating a lot less and changing up my exercise and it's working. I even bought a box of Kashi yesterday and I love Kroger's Carb Master yogurt - 12 gm. of protein, 1.5 gm of fat and only 80 cal. and it's so creamy and good, plus they were on sale for 40 cents each....it's also low sugar.
PB - green tea
B - yogurt with kaski
S - cheese stick
L - ckn cabbage soup & cottage cheese
D - turkey burger, sm salad
S - yellow delicious apple/ pb2
My trip next year is really inspiring me to get those last 40 lbs gone......

Have a wonderful day and I hope that you and Rufus feels better today.
I've been stalled for weeks now. Started exercising again and upping my protein and water intake. Sure hope it helps because this is getting so frustrating and I find myself carb grazing. I really need to keep losing.
My friend Gil has a respiratory infection so this weekend may be easier without his cooking and snacks to contend with. And I have some yard work to do for additional exercise. Please hold a good thought that this stall ends soon.
B coffee & protein bar
s banana
L turkey/cheese rollups
s protein drink
D steak/vegies
s apple/peanutbutter
Have a wonderful weekend and a great super bowl.
Love, light and laughter, Linda
