Good luck with your quitting smoking. I quit at midnight on Dec. 31st. I used chantix. It was an awful medication but it reallyhelped the cravings. I had to quit or my surgeon won't give me my surgery. I joined a BecomeAnEx. org I think it is org could be com. That really helped me. This has been the easiest quit I ever had. I am off chantix now and i feel pretty confident I have the habit licked this time. I'll be sending good thoughts your way. You can do this. Love, Nancy

Margo, what a great birthday gift!  So glad Michael had a doctor who could see his situation. At least this buys some more time. Funny, it was your birthday and I'm the one who got a card.....you're too sweet to think of me. Thanks and hugs!

We're one step closer to Saint Bella going live online. Got some more labels designed yesterday and they go to the printer this afternoon. Hopefully Gary can get the photos taken and onto the site this weekend.  Work has been nuts. Today is actually my day off, but because of the threat of ice on Tuesday, all of those clients moved to today.  I'm just grateful that they're still coming with the economic situation the way it is.
I met a lady yesteday who is donating her kidney to her best friend. Amazing how no one in the family was a match but her friend was. What an amazing gift. She was an inspiration, indeed.

Sorry you're still not feeling well, Margo. Annette, I hear giving up cigarettes is the hardest thing. My dad tried for years and never could give it up.

I did better yesterday in the grazing ... I guess having taxes to do helped ... occupying my fingers and my mind. I really need to get back to work to have something to do.

We are getting some light snow this morning. I need to get out and do some shopping, plus I need to go to Grand Rapids to the ortho doc's office to pick up a back to work letter (they said they printed it out ... I think it's the same letter I already have that's not what I need).

Hope it's not going to snow much because I don't want to drive in that.

Paid my Comcast bill so maybe now they'll turn my DVR back on. I think that's why it wasn't working. I was behind but planned to pay it today anyway. We'll see what happens.

Well, off to breakfast. I had to get online to check the bank account for my payroll deposit. Have a good day.

My wonderful cleaning fairy will be here shortly. I have quite a bit of laundry for her to do this week. Good thing she doesn't mind doing it!!

Margo...I hope you and Michael get over that nasty crud soon. You must be so miserable...UGH!!! Glad the Workers Comp battle is working out in your favor.

I too am so sick of this freezing cold weather. My gosh, I can't hardly stand it anymore!! We just never seem to get a break from it.....not good for my Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and COPD. I wear so many layers I can't hardly move.

I wanted to wish you a happy belated birthday, Margo. I missed it yesterday but you know you are always in my heart and my prayers. I hope that you soon start feeling better and then maybe you can enjoy a late birthday celebration.

I am so glad that things are working out for you and Michael with the workman's comp stuff. It is a long and sometimes what seems like a never ending road to the end.

I wasn't on the board yesterday since I just wasn't feeling good. I am not doing much better this morning either. I am so darn cold. I can't seem to warm up no matter what I do. I am sitting here huddling in a blanket. It isn't working much either, let me tell ya. I had this same thing this past week end and was hoping that it was gone but I guess not. I had a flu shot and sometimes I get the start of what seems like the flu bug and then it just stays with me for a long time. I just feel crappy most of the winter. I am hoping that it isn't going to be like that this year. I would rather not have the flu shot but they insist on it with the heart problem.

Nothing much going on here. I am just staying put and vegetating today. I am so hoping that tomorrow is better and I can actually go out and do something. We shall see.

 Annette good luck on the smoking thing. I still smoke & everytime I try to quit I gain! I have lost 16# since we all went to Frankenmuth but I believe it's from all the meds & procedures from my kidney stone.
 I have one procedure left(I hope) on Monday. This one is outpatient, again I hope! I still have a stent & some "gravel"
they are going to get out. If the Doc. wants to do anything else I will ask him if he is buying a boat & can I have a ride!
 I have been babysitting for my 3 grandaughters in Grand Rapids for the last week. It sure is good to be home. Even its only for a few days.

So sorry you and Michael are feeling so bad. But So GLAD he got his workmans comp continueing that is such a relief.
I went with Liz to the Baby stress test this morning and boy am I wired, they have the best coffe shop in town in that hospital. Ok so she is right baby Hunter DOES want his grandma. He was binging and banging all over the place this morning, the test went wonderful. Next thing is Tuesday. Amnio.. and maybe baby day. It has to be illegal to be this excited.
I am so sorry you are having so much snow..and so glad we are not. I remember one year in Ohio I think it was early 70's, driving down Rt.163 was literally like driving through a tunnel the plowed snow on each side of the road was so high, never before or again did I see it so deep.
I was really hungry yesterday , finally allowed myself a whole wheat tortilla with some cheese in the George Forman.. Oh my ,it was just what the doctor ordered, I had the calories left for the day but just didn't want to do the carbs. But it was satisfying and better than grazing all evening.
  I am watching carefully that family with the kids that grandparents put out the other day. They are staying with a cousin and getting to school so that is good, the oldest is staying at my house Saturday night.  On to work, Have a very blessed day.

been reading posts from last few days and i am worn out....had a root canal yesterday morning and it sure wasn't planned on!!! my tooth hurts like hell and the vicodin isn't helping at all. called dentist this morning told him i thought the tooth was longer than the others and it hurt to bite down...told me to come back in and they would fix it. so off i went and they fixed it...only now its sore from biting down on it i guess and have to wait a couple days see if it gets better or if i need to go on antibiotics. yippee can we say yeast infection if i go on antibiotics? i hope not!!! i hurt so bad yesterday at work i left after a couple hours and came home and went to bed.

SNOW....yeah we got the white crap!!!! i would guess about a foot of it here. got stuck at dentist, got stuck here at apartment twice and at work. calling for another round of the white crap tonight or tomorrow i think. is it cleaned up here at  apartment complex? NOPE

had a house blow up last night a few miles from us. two 80 year old people were inside...both flown to hospital and are in critical condition. seems like alot of houses blowing up around here in ohio lately!!!

have today off from work and guess what!! i got all the laundry done!!! last batch is in right now!!!! i can't believe it!!! 

need to get dishes in the dish washer and lay down. tooth is hurting again.

hope carla is feeling better soon!!! she sure doesn't need to lose any more weight!!

can't remember anything right now on who i wanted to post about so i will just say you are all on my mind and hope you all feel better if you are sick. congrats to those that are losing weight and having wow moments!!!

I'm tired of this cold and snow.  Yesterday they closed our work......an hour after I was already there, so I went back home at 9.  Wish they would've made up their mind earlier.  Anyway it was still nice having most of the day off...even if I did spend it shoveling 12.5" of snow.

Brenda is so miserable with her cold.  I sure hope I don't catch it.  She's really getting tired of feeling so bad and being stuck in the house.  She's been off for six weeks now counting our vacation before she got sick.  Vacation was spent stuck in the house because of all the snow in Michigan.  We're having crappy luck lately.

Talked to my mother last night and they think she has colitis.  She was doing prep for the Colonoscopy.  Boy, do I remember that.  It was worse than the procedure itself.  They moved her into a private room so at least she has a quiet room now.  I'll call her tonight to see how she is today.  Since she lives in Texas, I can't hardly go see her very easy.
