thursday-what's new?
and the saga repeats itself...thought i was feeling better=nope-started again! AND michael has it again......booooooo
thanks for all of the birthday wishes yesterday! also a few cards that were received! i love mail!!!
i neglected to share a what's new at our house- if you have been following the worker's comp business we have been stuck in for almost 3 years--a few weeks back; michael had to go see one of their "doctors"--well the report is back-IN OUR FAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whooooo hoooooo
the doctor must have been a compassionate and thorough surgeon when he practised cuz he feels that michael HAS NOT reached maximum medical improvement!!! so; PT and dr care continues -and $$- til at least end of june!!!
one of our neighbors came by and plowed out our drive yesterday! thank you brian! so good to have friends-even tho they are few here in lindsey! not sure that anyone is going out of the driveway today but it's cleared! michael estimates that we got about 10 inches of snow....yuck!
hmm...snow- wonder what judy g is thinking now about ohio and snow????
good to see so many new folks lately!
well- going to try to get back to sleep--so what's new with you????

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Glad to hear that you got some good news Margo and from others I know who have gone through the worker's comp thing, it is a very slow and dragged out process, but at least you got someone who sees it in your favor, many don't and have to fight every step of the way. Also sorry to hear about your bout with this bug that's going around, mine lasted 2 days, though 2nd day was not as bad, hope today finds you better. . .
I am up early as a result of two days of being home with that intestinal bug that's making the rounds, so I got lots of extra rest and all I can say is I am grateful to be feeling better today! Another positive side of being sick was I caught up with my DVR programming and am now current on all my shows ;) Anyway, I'm going to have time to make breakfast, as well as get ready for work and then I will slowly make my way to the train station as I imagine the roads are going to be rather icy.
Well if I'm going to have breakfast and get out of here early, I'd better get a move on, hope you all are safe and warm and if you are in an area where any of these storms have hit, I wish you safe traveling if you have a need to be out on the roads and have a wonderful day!

The new front door is IN!!!!!! What a day to have a door replaced. The wind and snow were ferocious and blew right into my kitchen. The old door was solid wood; this one has a window. I like it
My first day of quitting ciggy's went well. The patch works, my quit coach talked to me, I survived. one day at a time, or 5 minutes at a time.
Let me admit, I'd rather give up food than smoking. That is a sad thing and so stupid. Dang it, I have an addictive personality.
Why can't I get addicted to healthy stuff?

Annette, I am glad you are working on giving up cigs....will say a prayer for your success. Say, is Tom retired now????
There was a half page article in our local paper yesterday about the Bariatric Support group that I lead, and yes, a humongous picture of me.....several ppl at work called me a celebrity and a lady in town that I am acquainted with called and said if she hadn't seen my name in the article she wouldn't have known it was me.
WOW. Anyway I was extremely pleased with the article and hope it encourages more WLS ppl to attend the group.
Culligan finally brought salt yesterday, so now I can do laundry....I've been out of sof****er for nearly 2 wks.
Need to pick up a few groceries and kitty litter at Wally World this morning, then only one piano student today, as the one brother just got out of the hospital and he wasn't able to practice so I told the Mom he should skip his lesson this wk.
That's about it for me, stay safe and warm those of you who are in the icy, snowy areas. Haven't seen Judy G
on lately, hope she's ok.

Is this the end of the campaign to keep Annette warm??? Sure hope so. I think we need to invent battery operated shoe warmers. Like a heating pad, but able to be put into your shoes. All I want is warm feet. The rest is easy. Here I'm complaining with the overnight temps getting into the teens, when some of my OFF buddies are below freezing. Ok....I'll stop whinning.
