what's new wednesday?
Morning Margo and all,
I'm normally on my way to work by now, but I just came in from shoveling snow and thought I'd take a rest before getting dressed. Looks like we got about 8" of snow. Our work is on a 2 hour delay, but I'm still going in shortly. The less traffic the better and our parking lot at work gets crazy when it snows. Can you imagine 4000 cars trying to park in straight rows in the snow. It was bad enough yesterday.
Brenda's cold seems alittle better but it's still pretty bad. Sure hope I don't catch it. She goes back to the surgeon on Monday.
Last night I received a call from my aunt in Texas telling me that my mother is in the hospital. Last week when I talked to her she had coughed up some blood so she was going to have some tests. Now she's bleeding internally. They're doing another colonoscopy and endoscopy to see if they can see what the problem is. Hopefully I'll hear more tonight.
Well, better get moving so I can beat some of the crazy people out there on the roads.

Floyd, I will certainly add your Mom to my prayer list.
We have snow here this morning too, but not sure how much....they were predicting more for south of us and over by Margo. I did hear the plow go by a few minutes ago. Dang, I'm so tired to winter. Drive carefully and stay safe, brother!
Off to get my shower now and get ready for my Wednesday.
George, hope you got home safely too.....that ice stuff

I have nothing new to share. Truly nothing. Not losing any weight. Not a thing new or exciting going on. It's Wednesday so that's a good thing because it's getting closer to the weekend. I did finish crocheting the baby blanket I was working on. I started a little sweater to match and will fini**** today I hope. Keeping my hands busy and away from food anyway and I get some projects done.
Good thoughts for each and everyone who needs them today. Warm thoughts for all who are in the frozen world out there. Yikes.

Good morning Margo and everyone.
Margo, I am so sorry about the trots. I know it is going around here. My boss was sick on Monday, but I don't think I gave it to her because her husband had been sick on Friday. I have heard a lot of people have had it. Nasty stuff.
I am going this morning to get a perm. I will probably look like Shirley Temple in a few hours. Only my hair is way shorter than hers ever was. But I am so tired of having to mess with my hair in the morning. I like to wa**** comb it out and go.
We lucked out with the snow, just got a dusting. I think it went south of us. Went through southern KS, OKlahoma, southern Missouri, Arkansas. And sounds like it went even as far south as Texas. People in Dallas drive crazy in the rain, I can't imagine how they drive in the ice.
Sorry George. People think Texas is warm but not all parts of it. My dad was born an hour north of Dallas and I remember visiting relatives and it could get downright cold. But it gets pretty warm in the summer also.
l also need to go get bloodwork today. Need my thyroid test so I can get a refill on my thyroid medicine.
I hope Karla is doing a lot better.
Well, better get going. Need to get a load of clothes in the dryer, put another load in the wash. Then go get ready for my hair appointment and then head for work.

I'm at my daughters this am, getting the girls ready for school and then hanging out here as her furnace is acting up. The repairman is supposed to be here sometime this am. Earl has PT today and is driving himself. His hand is doing better although he has lot of swelling yet. Each day it seems a little better.
Still struggling with my food...but working on it. I brought an EAS Carb Control drink for me to have here mid morning.
Haven't talked to Carla yet today, will post later after I talk to her.

It's FREEZIN', its FREEZIN'.....not going in until noon...so can spend more time at $4....would hate to stay here in a warm house and clean. Can't wash....washer and dryer won't be here until Saturday...so why bother?
I'm at goal weight but trying to stay there.... and my 'tight' tummy is soggy and somewhat saggy.... I feel better with the binder...the Spanx make me feel pulled down. I've got a spongy tummy, not a tight one. It is what it is.
Soon as I get myself together and find something warm, I'm headed for $4.
