What Are We Eating & What's Eating Us-Wednesday!

I'm struggling to keep my eyes open so Im posting a bit early....still, at 12:01 am, it's legal *s*.

We have a big snowstorm on the way so Derek is sleeping with his alarm set for 2 am....but so far, not one snowflake has shown it's face. 

This morning I have to take mother's groceries up for her and then JB and I drive to the city and pick up our little LilyRose from the Vet.  Hopefully she will forgive us for taking her there and the subsequent surgery she endured.  And now, just when Katie is starting to relax, LilyRose will return.

I will also be spending some time with my close friend whose husband took his own life last week.

Last night, Derek went outside to go out for a late dinner with friends  and surprised three brush wolves in our  open-ended tractor shed (attached to the garage) trying to reach a number of our cats, who stood hissing and spitting from a high shelf.  He armed himself with a long two by four, he said, but they ran off..thank goodness!!  That means they didnt have rabies or they'd have attacked him too..and he was careful not to corner them so they felt the need to defend themselves against him.  I guess, with this hard winter, they are hungry, poor creatures.

Speaking of "hunger",  here is my menu for Rufus today:

B    Matrix hot chocolate protein drink

S    1/2 toasted multi-grain bagel w/ old cheddar cheese

L     green salad w/diced cold chicken thigh, seeds,            nuts and cheese

S      home made chicken soup

D      chicken thigh , green beans

S      fruit

Just a note:  the last four slices of Derek's ice cream cake is still in the freezer and I have NO interest in getting intimate with it at all...will miracles never cease????

I am up here at 1:30 Am, wide awake.  I slept a couple of hours but then up I got. 

Part of it is that my food intake has not been good the past couple of days.

So I need to definitely plan out today!

Breakfast:  scrambled egg and orange

S  protein shake

L tomato soup  and Lean Pocket

S protein shake

D pinto beans and small piece of corn bread

S protein shake

Plus I really need to get more water in today!

Good morning,

B-greek yogurt with frozen blueberries
L-seafood stew
S-seafood stew
s-apple with pb

Extremely cold and snowy winter here...having many computer probs that keep me off-line. Struggling getting in
my fluids while at work. But....the sun is shining and I'm alive and losing wt. Yeh!

Hi Nancy,now that my eating is better,I can post my food. I could not post when I was barely eating!
B- Cottage Cheese with 1/4 cup of trail mix.
L- Steak,Green beans.
D- Baked chicken strip with melted cheese on top,with spaghetti sauce,broccoli florets.
S- A great Gala apple...mmmm.
