What's New - Tuesday

Good Morning.  I hope this Tuesday finds you all well and happy.  If not, love and hugs go out to you.  I am doing fine.  Adjusting to having more free time with my retirement.  I am ready for this cold weather to be gone.  I am going through the insurance hoops regarding having a revision.  Seems my stoma that is supposed to be at 8 is at 22!!  After having lost 177 pounds and holding, I want to get the tool working correctly again so that I can continue my weightloss.  I had more hoops this time than I did the first time...well in 2003, there weren't so many rules.  Enjoy your day and chat on.....
No matter what a person's past may have been, their future is spotless.  Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!!

Diane - that is quite a difference in stoma size. Let us know how you are progressing and good luck.

Our Abigail  loves the rafters in the basement. Her exploring got her in big trouble. The men have been working on the insulation - blown-in insulation. Tom was in charge of keeping the cats out of that part of the basement.

I saw a streak of black and WHITE rush upstairs and into the bathroom. It was Abigail. She had jumped to the rafters and was coated with the white goop. What a MESS.

The men showed us the solvent they use to remove it from their hands. It looked too toxic to apply to our furbaby. Tom held her and I tried to trim as much as possible. Places such as her ears were too delicate for scissors. We hope she will let us comb it out as it dries. She is a sad looking furbrat.

Kisses

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo, I see Genforum is now a "pay" site. I'm just getting back into my research. Years ago I did Ancestry.com then it go too pricey. What do you use? I know I can use Heritage Quest through my library here at home logging on with my library account. I really liked Genforum. . .

genforum was before me--i do pay for ancestry-and i have family tree maker (2006 version) but i don't have all of my stuff typed in there so cannot generate a gedcom..i need to buckle down to that !!!!!.i also have one great family and my heritage family tree(which i think is part of ancestry).

i also belong to some genweb forums for specific areas and a Quaker board....
i have access to footnotes which is awesome for military info etc and i can do heritage quest on my library card...and we have the Hayes Center Library within a few blocks of my work...

and i have papers strewn everywhere in a fairly messy 4ft area!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Oh! Poor little Abigail, I bet she is a pathetic looking little thing. I wonder if that will curb her investigations? If she is anything like Misty it won't. She is lucky that she has such good parents in you and Tom. We may get a smile at their expense but they are very well taken care of and loved.

that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Poor Abigail! I'm sure she's a mess.

When my brother was putting in his new tub, his cat got caught exploring ... Ed had to remove the tub after it was put in because Nic was stuck underneath (Ed could have killed Nic, really!). They discovered it as they were about to seal it up because they heard him meowing ... and he doesn't usually meow.
