Judy, Just type in "freecycle" on your search engine. It's a national thing with local groups. We have one for our immediate area here in SE Washington. Spokane, Seattle, other larger areas have their own. It's a GREAT place to give and get! I've given a lot away and also had some wonderful glass doorknobs given to me! All I did was ask.  Good luck.

"You'd think it was the Fourth of July!"  something like that. . . now it's running through my head!

Actually, freecycle is international (it's here in Canada, too, and probably elsewhere).  I have divested myself of a lot of crap - I mean stuff, that I had no more use for including 30 year old university text books!!  Right now, I am going through my books and looking for others that are just taking up space, and I will either give them to a charity shop or give them away on freecycle. Freecycle is great for someone like me who has had furniture from three houses and from a B&B business that was getting in the way.  If someone else can use it, they can have it.  I'm just too lazy and love my free time too much to have yard sales anymore.

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

Thanks Margo, now I have that song in my head ... well, at least it's a song I like.

I slept so long ... got up at 8 and went back to sleep until 9:30. So I slept 9 1/2 hours, more or less. I went to bed at 11:30, dozed off sometime around midnight, got up at 12:45 and thought, if I don't go back to sleep by 1, I'll  get up and read. Well, obviously I went back to sleep for good and slept through the night, kitties snuggled around me. I guess I needed the rest. I feel so much better today, knee doesn't hurt as much.

I really need to get out today, though. I have to go to PetsMart for litter and other cat supplies and Walgreens for calcium, and I have to go to Meijer and return my humidifier filter (it was the wrong one). So after all that running around, I'll probably be sore Sunday. Hope not. I really don't like having days like that. It's really hard on the body. I need to do my PT at home, too, in between the days at the PT place, so I can maximize the care.

Got a letter from Blue Cross ... they won't pay for part of my home PT because they claim I was not homebound at the time ... WHAT? I know I was because I wasn't driving (other than out to the mailbox, and I don't consider that driving ... it's less than 1/16 of a block, and it was part of PT actually to get me used to driving again). So I called them and appealed it over the phone ... told them I was indeed homebound at the time and had no one to drive me to PT. I don't know where they got their information from. How would they know I wasn't homebound anymore? Do they have spies around my house watching my garage door?

Margo, raisins are high in iron too. And do you take iron pills? If you do, take them with Vitamin C ... it helps the absorption.

Well, I need to get in the shower and get my butt in gear so I can get something done today. I'll wear myself out quickly enough. There's nothing on TV ... no football this week, some basketball, so I'll probably put that on when I get home and try to catch up on my reading.

Have a good day.

Yeah, Mary, I got it Friday. Thanks. Haven't tried it yet, because in the meantime, I got two cases of AchievOne from my health store in Grand Rapids (he had them sitting there for me before Christmas and my surgery). I will send you the Click protein, but had to get a padded envelope first (did that on Saturday) and will get it to the post office Monday.

Thanks for sending this. I'll try it soon and maybe this will satisfy me.
