TGIF-What's new?
Hello Margo and dear OFF friends!!
HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY TO EVERYONE!!!
I'm working as usual. Beautiful day here. Up to about 60 degrees. I'm so glad it's warmer. I hate the cold cold mornings getting out and coming to work!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. No special plans for me. Just the usual chores..YUCK

Hi Everyone,
Just checking in to see how everyone is. Still raining off and on here and about 60 degrees.
It has been a long, workweek with many deadlines to meet. I'm so happy that Friday has finally arrived. Gil and I are going out to dinner this evening and will see The Reader, then spend a relaxing weekend together. I'm looking forward to board games and watching DVDs with the wood stove burning and Gil's cooking, maybe a hike with the dog.
Didn't see Marley and Me but I just read the book. Perhaps dogs live shorter lives so that when they're gone we miss the unconditional love and recognize how much that devotion adds to our lives. My dog, Carl the rottweiler, is also beginning to slow down and gray up. But he never fails to great me with enthusiasm and total acceptance. The world would be a much brighter place if only we could all do that for each other.
Joy and gratitude, Carmel Valley Linda

Hello all.
The big Chamber of Commerce Annual meeting is tonight. Not really looking forward to it, but it is expected for me to go, so go I must.
Saturday is a busy day, breakfast meeting at 8:30 (I will eat before I go and just have coffee) then my WL support group is having lunch at Ruby Tuesdays in Charlottesville at 12. The community dinner for the church and community is at 5 (hosted by the youth) so it is an eating day.
My grandchildren 8 and 10 are spending the night with us tomorrow night.
Doesn't sound much like a restful Saturday does it????
