Good Morning Linda! I am playing with the same 2 lbs again, up and down up and down yada yada. Those evil saltines got me yesterday! I also need to drink more water. Today is my eye dr appt. Thought it was yesterday. No changes in the menu but to stay away from the saltines. Have a great "Friday" today! C

Good Morning All!! Have to travel to Madison for work today...will be a 12-13hr day, off tomorrow but not to much celebration cuz have to get up at 0500 to work Saturday. "Riverfest"going on in LaCrosse this week/weekend..hope to get there tomorrow for a little while. B- Protein shake S-wasabi almonds L-turkey/cheese/spinach wrap with whole grain wrap D-not sure yet..I'll have to bring it along. Have a great weekend everyone!! Alice

Morning all! Yesterday was the first day of my pre op diet. Not prepared for that as I found out the day before. Today will be better, Breakfast- protein shake S- yogurt & pear Dinner- chicken & green beans S- pear & ? Supper - more chicken & some kind of veg S- protein shake Pretty limited on the intake items available!! Happy fourth to you all & God Bless America

Hello Linda! Aren't we glad to be celebrating July 4th?  Enjoy your extra day!  I know you will...... I've been trying to settle in on some foods allowed....  Not losing as much weight these days now that food is in this plan but it'll happen! B-protein shake L-cottage cheese w/peach  S-String Cheese D-tuna  S-protein drink or protein bullet Hugs dear one! Kathi

Kathi, are you getting in at least 60 gm. of protein.....
are you allowed any fruit yet, maybe some s/f applesauce.

Hi Pat, Yes, I aim for 60-80 grams of protein.  Shakes or I throw a protein bullet in depending on what I'm doing for the day. I've been eating a taste of applesauce to get the crushed pills down in the morning and drank some prune juice yesterday because it's listed in my paperwork. I should find out more guidance at dr's appt today. Thanks for being here! Kathi

Linda, I have to take my pug to the vet for her annual exam this morning, and after that I'm calling my surgeon's office because I just can't live with this super-tight band any more.  I ate about 500 calories yesterday and burned 328 of those during Zumba class.  Yeah, I'm losing weight this way, but at what cost? Today's plan is: B:  protein shake made w/ 1 cup skim milk, 1/2 banana, 1 scoop peanut butter chocolate protein powder S:  1/2 c. chocolate cottage cheese pudding with 1 tbl no-sugar-added cherry pie filling L:  2 oz chicken, 1/4 c. brocamole S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ blueberries D:  2 oz crab salad, 1/4 c. carrots S:  1 Skinny Cow Dipper Jean

Good morning Linda and Friends! Again yesterday I screwed up big time   I know better than to let the stress get to me, so why do I keep slipping into the same trap?  If I'd remember to drink like I should, there wouldn't be room for all the junk.  I am determined to do better today even though we have a Zephyr's game tonight.  If need be, I'll bring a protein bar or buy a hamburger and eat only the meat (I've done this before and been satisfied.  We're up for another rough day at work - 3 out, so it's the business manager, his assistant, and me to cover for all the docs, answer the phones, etc. B - meat and cheese from Jr. Lunchable and 1/2 a small banana S - protein shake L - spag sauce with cheese S - yogurt D - at the game - definitely some peanuts and a burger or protein bar S - turkey and cheese or protein shake
