What support groups do you attend?

Hi. I live in the Portland area, and I need to get plugged into a support group. I am post WLS, and now that I am feeling stronger healthwise, I need to get busy and get more of my weight off. I seem to be stuck. What are you doing to get support? Thanks! Peg

Kaiser Permanente has several support groups going. You might look in the phone book and call one of the offices and they can hook you up. Hope this helps some. Peggy Blazer

Kaiser Sunnyside has support groups on the 4th saturday of the month. Post op meetings are separate from the pre-op support groups. They allow non members to attend these groups and there is no charge (at least there never was before) I haven't attended a meeting in many moons, but will be starting back in December. I have a schedule of times at home, it you'd like, I can get back with you on specifics.
