All steps complete!
Well, as of this morning, I have completed all the things I needed to do to have my paperwork submitted to the insurance company. I had a cardioloty appointment on Monday, and everything is just fine. I had my psych evaluation yesterday in Bend, and this morning I had to see my Internist to be weighed to prove that I have lost at least 5% of my weight and have my last cholesterol test. I have lost 18 pounds since February 27, so I have actually lost 7% of my body weight!
I'm feeling really good. Now all I need is to get the psych evaluation sent in (he said it would be a week and a half to two weeks), then they will send everything to Regence BC/BS, and it should only take about two weeks after that to pick me a surgery date!
I am hoping for an early May or mid-May date.

Thank you all! I have to say that it's fairly easy to lose the weight when you're living with a gastric bypass patient. I have been eating the same foods as Freddie, except I'll add a piece of fruit or some vegetables. It was nice to have him travel with me to the last few medical appointments too -- especially Tuesday night coming home from Bend in the SNOW!
Life is good. I'm in love and my man and I will be getting fit and healthy together.
Linda
