3 weeks out
Hi Kelly,
Keep up the great work. Eating what , how much, and when will come with time. I'm 2 years out next month and lost 120 pounds during the first 18 months. I dropped below my personal goal of 135. I hover between 128-132.
I still have to concentrate on increasing the protein intake to ensure I get the required 55 - 65 gms of protein every day. The weight has continued to drop if I don't ensure sufficient calories for my new body. But most importantly, I ensure that I take my vitamins every day. You will be amazed as the weight continues to drop.
You go girl! Enjoy every day!!

Hi Kelly,
Sounds like you and your husband had a good eve. except when you got to feeling sick. I feel for you, there, Ive been sick now, about 4 times and believe me , it was no picnic. I felt like i was going to die. Im 6 weeks out now, post-op. I had my Laproscopic Gastric Bypass the 26th of January 2007. So, Ive had my ups and downs.
Ive lost 48 pounds, so far. everyone tells me how thin my face is looking. Good to hear the comments from my family and friends. makes me feel good. Good Luck to you on your journey. Hope to get to know you better. I know, the support and encouragement
are so important to have. Take care. KathyS
