I have been trying for a long time to get a lapband but have to self pay well I have around five thousand saved does any one know of any place that would allow me to make payments on the rest I dont care where I have to go to get it done I just would like to get it done soon I have waited so long allready

Rita, I'm not sure about payments, but someone recently posted the Dr. Tersigni in Coos Bay was running a $10,000 special on the lap bands. That's cheaper than going to Mexico! Give them a call and see what you can figure out with him. They may have some options! Dina

Rita, I went to Mexico, and was able to split payments with cash and a credit card. Also Dr. Rumbaut works with a finance company to help patients like us. My total cost was $10,600. Good luck!

Hi, I had lapband done with Dr. Emma Patterson in Portland. She requires her fee upfront and you are pretty close to what she charges. She did mention that the hospital would work out a payment plan for patients. Kathy W.

Yes, Eugene has a financing option. Give them a call and they will give you the details. If you're not in Eugene, call the center you're intested in working with, and they will tell you if they have a payment option. If you go to Mexico, you'll have all those travel expenses to pay for! Linda
