How long after seminar did you hear?

My coworker and myself are wondering how long after attending the seminar and submitting our applications does it take to hear from Legacy Good Samaritian Obesity Clinic. Guess we were pretty jazzed after the seminar and both rushed home and filled out the paperwork. Now we are waiting and perhaps being to anxious. Thanks for feedback. Jeanne

Hi Jeanne, I went to a seminar on April 11th. I think it took them about 2 weeks to get back to me to set up my other appointment's with the Obesity Clinic. I went for this appointment on June 11th. It may take a little longer for me to get in because I live in Idaho. They tried to get them all back to back so I did not have to fly back and forth so often. My next appointment was with the surgeon and that was scheduled for July 5th.(they got a cancelation so I got in early). I would have been scheduled for August 3rd if not. So it seems like it takes a long time because we all want it now. But it really goes pretty fast. I hope this helps you guys, Melony

Melony: Thank you so very much to information. IT sure helps a lot. We are almost three weeks since they should have received our application so are getting anxious. I also realize this time of year, lots of people are on vacation. You are right, once I decided this was the right course for my weight loss I was ready to go right away. Guess I had better be patient. I am so impressed that you are flying back and forth to get this done. That is real dedication. Will watch for your posts to see how you are doing. Jeanne, I started the process in March 2006 filled out the application and called them the next week to find out where I was in the process. They got on the ball and scheduled tests for me in April, May and June. My surgery was July 21st and I have been home since the 25th. Time goes by quickly and I think that contacting them about your apps. is a good idea. It worked for me anyway. It took me a little longer to actually have the surgery because of the additional testing and waiting for results. Good luck, stay focussed, and be on the Losing Side of life!!! Nancy
