Does everyone feel hunger after surgery

Hi peoplejust wondering do most people feel the head hunger right after surgery. Ive heard different things. I also was wondering is it true that right after surgery you get shots in your tummy. I watched the Tyra banks show and they had some one on that had the surgery and said that their was alot that people werent told about what would go on right after surgery that NO ONe talked about. Is this true? Pleas comment

Hi Elisa, I don't know about others, but I did have some head hunger (but only a couple of times) shortly after surgery. I wasn't physically hungry but wanted to eat...because I was used to eating in certain situations (like when I was happy, sad, angry, bored...etc.) I did also have shots of Lovonox in my tummy until I was released from the hospital (that's a blood thinner). Not everyone has those, but I did. I don't like shots but these were with a teeny tiny little needle and I don't remember feeling much of anything when they gave them to me. I hope this helps some. Hi Elisa, I didn't have any shots. I did have head hunger after about a week on several occasions. I just drank my way through it---with Chrystal light, not alchohol LOL!! It wasn't horrible and everyone IS different. Pat
