Me Too! Me Too!

I am doing the happy dance. I just got off the phone with Anthem. I also have verbal approval, just waiting on the Nurse to say how long of a hospital stay they will approve. Per Gwen at Anthem, my letter should go out on Thursday to LaTonya. On another note, I have never had an Upper GI done until today. Is it normal to have such bad gas pains afterwards? Debbie

DEBBIE!!!! Congratulations to you!! How so super exciting. Good for you. Can you believe it. That will be so cool if you and Amber get to do your PAT's and operations on the same days. Super cool. As far as the gas, I had the upper GI but it was a scope. It wasn't where you take that Barium and stand infront of the xray. I don't remember having gas. I just remember my throat being really sore b/c they didn't give me enough "twilight" medication and I kept gagging on the scope. Sorry can't help you on that one. Once again, Im really excited for both you and Amber. Congratulations Kym
