I got the results of my CAT Scan

and I have Ovarian Cysts. Whew! I'll follow up with my Dr. in a few weeks and we'll take it from there. Thank goodness that's all it is.

I developed a lot of gynecological issues as a result of WLS. Estrogen is stored in fat. As the fat breaks down the estrogen blood level increases and this can effect anything that is responsive to estrogen (like ovaries!). I'll betcha anything they resolve after the majority of weight is lost. Do they think you have Polycystic ovarian syndrome?

I'm glad it was a simple answer to a scary symptom. I figured it would be!
