Dominic Artuso, MD

Anyone have surgery with Dr. Artuso.  I consulted with him and was very comfortable, especially with the Nurse Practitioner (Patty?), who had the lap band herself.  It was a great visit.   Any experiences welcome.

Hey LuvinlittleD, I had surgery with Dr. Artuso exactly 1 week ago!  I found him to be very knowledgeable and straight forward.  I went to the OH site and found patient reviews .. I wrote one too.  My surgery was difficult as I has some scar tissue from a previous surgery .. instead of take 1 hour, it took 3 hours.  Dr. Artuso has been there since.  Each time that I have had a question or issue, I've called the office .. left messages and each time he has personally called me back!!  I think I made a good choice .. I no bad things to say about him. Hi and welcome new friend!  Thank you so much for the info on Dr. Artuso.  I applaud your bravery choice and your willingness to share your experience.  I am also so glad you made it through the surgery okay.  Even though you had a difficult time, it sounds as if you are recpurating well and staying positive.  I will stay in touch with you throughout the experience.  Thank you for the suppoert and continued success to you!

I wish you only success wth any doctor you choose.  The important thing is to come out of this and begin getting healthy.  It took me several years (several years to long) to get to this point and I'm glad I made the decision.  My health was getting bad (diabetes, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure.)  If you are seriously considering Dr. Artuso and have any questions .. please reach out.I think that he is an excellent surgeon and knows his stuff .. of course that's my just opinion!!
