Okay, Here are my answers..... Hello ladies,

1.What types of food did you eat this week?  taco salad, tuna salad, shrimp salad, meatballs, shrimp parmigiana, grilled cheese sandwhich, gard salami slices, olives, grilled veggies, yogurt with a sliced banana and some crunchy cereal on top, oatmeal, sf chocolate pops, mock rice pudding.

2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Went to the gym 5 times last week!

3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss?  lost 0, maintained 120lb weight loss though!

4. What was your biggest challenge?  Taking my midterms while working full-time and not pigging out!

5. What is one of your worst memories as a morbidly obese person? One of my worst memories pre surgery was when I was in Friendlys with my two daughters roughly 10 years ago.  I can recall my younger daughter crying very loudly that she wanted to sit on my lap,,,but she couldn't because there was no room between my stomach and the table....but even worse, the entire place started laughing at me...it was a moment that I'll NEVER forget!

6. What is your favorite "WOW" or "NSV" moment since WLS? My favorite WOW moment was the day that I realized that "my thighs didn't rub anymore"!!!!Only you pear shaped ladies can associate with this one!

*Fun bonus question: OOPS, I forgot to write a fun bonus question...so how about....hmmmmm.....

1.  Anything and everything, in moderation! 

2. 

3.  246 was my high, down 65 to 181...no loss in a month 

4.  I haven't had a diet coke in 5 1/2 months.  I'd love one...which would equal 2, so I'll refrain. 

5.  My dad's comment about my pretty face...I HATE that comment!  "but you have a pretty face".  F*** that!  I'm beautiful inside and out no matter what the scale says I weigh (my apology for the ***s...but, I do feel that strongly about that statement!!!  If it upsets someone, I'l edit  )

6.  One of my first NSVs was noticing the back of my thighs touching the tanning bed!  LOL

Fun post Maryellen!
1. Chicken in tomato sauce, steamed flounder, tuna with crackers, rice cake and peanut butter, salad, apples, cheese sticks, whole grain bread with poached egg, cottage cheese with pineapple...
2. I walk about 5 x a week for about 35-40 min a time
3. I've lost a total of 130 pounds. I'd like to lose another 10-20.
4. Biggest challange: Dealing with a marriage that fell apart, kids who have suffered as a result, starting back at school for my master's degree and the dog dying suddenly (all happened at about the same time these past 2 months).
5.Worst memories...so many: I had a huge crush on someone who wouldn't have considered me even remotely due to my size. So painful.
6. NSV: I wear a size ten and frequently don't recognize myself when I pass by a mirror!

Bonus answer: I wish I looked like JLo!

1.What types of food did you eat this week?  Chicken salad - fish - weight control oatmeal - Chicken-

2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Cardio - weight training - Yoga

3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss?  2 pounds - 110.5 total loss

4. What was your biggest challenge?  getting back on track after vacation

5. What is one of your worst memories as a morbidly obese person? I'd have to think about the worst .... But I remember just always feeling uncomfortable

6. What is your favorite "WOW" or "NSV" moment since WLS? I went shopping and found a pair of Gap jeans size 2 on the clearance rack - I tried 'em on and they fit like a glove "wow" and I only paid $6.97 for them :)

Maryellen, I applaud you 5 days of exercise ... a women on a mission! Go Maryellen ... Are you enjoying your gym time? I do its addictive for me its "me time"  Yes, you are right it was a DOUBLE WOW!  Thanks - I'm proud to have that off my to do list!  ps I found a 5k at stoneybrook unniversity on 11/18 are you up for it? hugs, Britt
