Feeling weak....???

I know what you mean. I am wiped out today but it's because my sisters were here all weekend with my 3 yr old niece & I let her sleep with me last night!!! The kid's a thrasher & I was terrifeid that she was going to kick me in my "boo-boos" (that's what she called them!) that I hardly slept!! At least my poor sister got a full night's sleep!!! This kid's an ealry riser in a family of night owls!!! I napped after they left & I will hit the hay early tonight!!! Congrats on getting through the pancakes!!! They all ordered from my favorite pizza/wing/sub place yesterday for my bro's bday & amid all of the hot parm subs I survived & did very well!!! They even had chocolate cake & I had no desire to have any!!! A major coup for me!!!! I did make some applesauce, which my niece said was awesome, for me to have the end of this week!!! I did do something stupid yesterday without even realizing it!! I reached for something with my left arm & all of a sudden felt a sharp pain in my left side... I couldn't move & started to cry!!! Back to the lortabs for me for a few days!!! The pain just feels similar to what I felt at the hospital right now but I hope it gets better!! I am taking just 1 pain killer so I consider that a good thing!!! I do see the dr weds but if it get worse I will call him tomorrow!! DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!! It was just an automatic reaction to reach for what I did!!! Oh well, that'll teach me!!! Because of that dumbness my youngest sister felt so bad for me & saw that I was going to have a hard time hooking up the leash for my 18 yr old pug to go outside so she offered to take her for 2 weeks!!! I cried!! I couldn't believe she offered!!! I have to get used to this generosity!!! My family & friends are so cool!! Well, sorry, I guess this turned into a mini-novel!!! So what else is new with me these days!!! Hope you're feeling better!!!! Cece

I can't believe you had your 3 yr old niece sleep with you so soon after surgery!  I wouldn't have gotten any sleep either!  Hope you are getting lots of rest and feeling much better! Congratulations for being so good on not being tempted with the pizza/cake deal!  That's great!  The smells are so hard to take though, aren't they?  I get to start my soft foods on either Wednesday or Thursday...yay!!  I'm sure you do, too . Sorry to hear about your pain incident.  It's amazing how different things are going between us in that dept.  I haven't had any pain meds since I left the hospital and haven't really needed any.  The gas pains were the worst and that part is over, THANKFULLY! Keep me updated!!

 hi creak lady,  its gonna take a little time to get back to normal. you'll have a day or two where you'll feel wiped out. how did you like dr. fitzer? he did my surgery in 0307. i like that practice so much more than the bariatric ctr here in syracuse. dont worry you'll be up to speed in no time.

I like Dr. Fitzer a lot.  That's interesting that you came to his office because I actually thought of going to Syracuse for my surgery before I met with Dr. Fitzer thinking they would have more experience but I'm hearing of a lot of people going to Graber/Fitzer.  I'm glad I stuck with them.
