This isn't suppose to be the case so soon after surgery, is it?? Is it actually hunger or maybe just gas pains or something?  It's hard to tell.

Try sipping on some water...you might just be thirsty and getting it confused with hunger. I did that several times till I finally got it right in my head

LOL, Jane!  That could actually be the case since I'm clueless at this point.  I also am having a tough time getting in the 64 oz each day so I am sure you are right. Thank you!!

It took me a good 2 weeks before I could actually get all my water in! Just try to do the best you can do!

just remember they dont do brain surgery so our brains might be telling us we are hungary but its really all in our heads......try what britt said and drink water....... fill up on protien... eat healthy snacks if you really feel its hunger maybe carrot sticks or salad ....... but for the most part i feel water loading is the best.... also i remember early out i would eat sunflower seeds inbetween meals to satisfy the hunger salt and crunch..... that worked wonders for me i am over three years out and maintaining,,, and i still follow day one rules!!!! i also remember them telling me to get a hobby... my hobby used to be eating now i keep busy doing other things!!! i hope this helps and good luck to you

I was trying to shut off my brain and just listen to my stomach yesterday lol.  Everything was grumbling so I think it was probably a combination of the gas and needed more fluids.

Thanks for the tips!  You have done so awesome with losing and maintaining.  It's wonderful!!

It may be "head hunger".

I didint feel hungery till about 10-12 months out. Its nothing like it was before. With you're pouch so new the nerve endings and everything else healing, I dont think what you're feeling is real hunger.

Its hard to adjust to the new pouch, and takes a while both mentally and physically. Hang in there and give you're body time to heal and adjust. Youll do great!!

Hey sweetie!

I would agree with the others...head hunger.  We're so programmed to whatever it is we did for so long, it was habit!  Stick to getting your fluids (water and protein, not beer and vodka ) in...lol  You're going to do amazingly!
