Hello Everyone

My name is Melissa and I am schedualed to have WLS in December '07 with  Dr. William Graber. I am interested in meeting or talking with people locally who have had surgery perhaps with the same Dr.  Do any of you attend the support group in Utica?  I will be going to my first meeting this Thursday.  ~M

Welcome to OH and the crazy gang from NY.  A gal at work and some others here see Graber's partner.  I call him DOOGIE HOWSER, he looks pretty young...lol  I went to the group in Syracuse and the Camden Support group, which wasn't supportive.  LOL  I hope your group is nicer!  I'm assuming you're having RNY?

Hey there Cheri..Yes I am having RNY...I see you are from Hamilton, Dr. Graber used to practice in Hamilton before coming here to Utica. I am certainly looking forward to meeting my group, if it is not supportive I will be searching out other local groups...but this web site has been so supportive and informative I think we may be biased...... we are spoiled here. I am so lucky I found it!!!!. Thank YOu for your reply ~M

Yes, I am aware that he used to practice here.  My ex b/f was a respiratory therapist there when Graber was there...

Hi Melissa,  I go to Dr Graber and am scheduled for Nov 8 2007 If you like we can keep in touch and maybe I will see you at the meetings and the wellness center. Good luck with your surgery!!

I would like that Skywriter....you are about 5 and a half weeks ahead of me I am schedualed for December 19, 2007 and I see that you are losing already ......congratulations!!! We are practically neighbors, I work in Rome. I will keep you in my prayers and hopefully I will see you on Thursday night. Thank you for your response. ~M
