I am hoping to hear about the ins approval today too!! That would be lovely!!! They told me my ins co is usually pretty quick & they dom't expect any probelms!! I am trying not to think about it... let them worry about it right now!!!  I had my pre-op clearance w/ my pcp on oct 3rd & my tests were this past Monday. I just have my last test on the 15th (the hematologist wants another ultrasound prior to the surgery just to be on the safe side!!). I can't wait until I am done with the running around!!! Good luck to you with your appts & approval!! Keep me posted!!!

Per my main post on the board : I had my pre-op appt. today which I passed with flying colors...woohoo!  After that I called my surgeon's office (they are so nice!) to ask them if this was the last step before submitting to the ins. and they said yes.  I don't know how it happened so fast but within an hour they called me back to tell me I was approved!!  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!  I don't think it's actually sunk in yet though!  I have to go in for labs (cbc, etc.) on Monday and then a week from that day is my surgery! Wow! It's really hard not to think about it, Cece, but you will be fine!  Keep me posted, too!
