Hey Guys!!

Wow, It's been a while since I last logged on here. How has everyone been. This past month has been a busy one for me. My family came down from PA a few weeks ago. My husband, Mom and I all celebrated our B-days together in Wilmington. It was so nice, I didnt want to come home. We rented a vaca house on Kure beach. It was beautiful! We had about 14 ppl give or take stay w/us throughout the week. It was great, except I was ill most of the time. Nonetheless it was relaxing and enjoyable . I'm new to the site still. I haven't really met many ppl off here yet. But I am eager to. Btw, if i havent already introduced myself; my name is Alissa, Im 27 and currently living in Morrisville NC. Near the Cary, Raleigh, Durham area. I'm a residential storage facilty manager. Easy job, so-so pay, great boss! I am married w/no children but owner of one crazy a@@ dog named Lucky. My husband and I are recently new to the NC area. I was born and raised in Philadelphia PA and my husband is from the Pocono area. We both work in storage and manage seperate sites. My husband and I are both heavy set- which is quite amusing since I am a firm believer that 2 fat folks shouldnt be together. LOL.. Please don't be offended by that- all it means is that I think it is harder to live w/a person who struggles w/the same issues/addictions as yourself. Especially when it's a food or an alcohol addiction. My husband and I seem to bring the worst out in each other when it comes to food. However my case is abit more extreme. I'm what you call an emotional addict. Where Paul seems to have abit more self control. (It's I who bring the worst out of him) Anyway, enough of my rambling I just wanted to say Hi and see how everyone has been. Hi Alissa,I am from NC now but born and raised in Pa near Philly.In Newtown Pa .Thats Bucks County.Near New Hope and Doyleston.We also had a home in Promised Land Lake and Canadensis.Your hubby probably knows where that is.I may be coming your way sometime and will email you if I ever do.Glad your here with us now and in OH.I had my surgery June 6th and more surgery August 2nd so now recouperating again.Begin work August 29th .UGH .Am a nurse in a Post Partum unit.Been a nurse for 21 yrs.take care .Dee

Hi Alissa. Welcome to NC and the OH NC board. I am in the Greenville area, that's about an hour east of Raleigh. I am married and have 2 children, one of which will be a senior in high school this year. We're new to NC as well, we lived in Charlottesville, VA for 4 years, and Delaware for 12 years before that. Hey Alissa, I'm in NC now, I'm orginally from Queens, NY...in Charlotte by way of Beaufort SC where my EX-husband was a Marine for 9 years . I'm in Charlotte and have been for 16years now. I remember when I first posted I got so many positive responses I decided to stay a while and now 4 months later, I am a regular poster. Hi Alissa, Welcome to OH, I'm a resident of Sanford, NC which isn't far from the RDU area. Look forward to getting to know more about you and welcome to NC. Oh a tad about me, humm I'm married and have 2 children both boys one 14 and one 5, I know a really big age gap there...I am still in the hoping/praying to have WLS stage. I have watched many join OH and already preparing or have already had surgery and it's very exciting to watch everyone go through their transformation journey.
