My aching gut...

Well, for the last few weeks, I have had a hard time eating anything solid. I get stomach cramps and a bloated feeling when I eat, and sometimes just from drinking. This last week the pain has radiated through to my back and I have had terrible back pain as well. So I finally went in last night and got my stomach scoped. Turns out I have a bad ulcer just beyond the stomach pouch. Not sure what caused it. I haven't been taking anything but my vitamins. Oh well, the good news I guess is that we now know what it is so I will be getting a couple prescriptions today for meds that will hopefully take care of it. In other news, had a bit of a FART last night. My son is on the FIRST robotics team. When he came home last night he brought me a team sweatshirt. (Pullover hooded type.) It was a size 2x. I haven't worn a 2x since high school. I pulled it on, and IT FIT! It is still a little snug, but not uncomfortably so. Team #1359 - GO SCALAWAGS!! I have reached that 100lbs gone mark this last week as well, so despite this blasted ulcer, I am doing and feeling pretty damn good.

That is so cool to hear - about the fart that is. I know how it feals to put the 2xl on for the first time.
Glad you got the ulcer diagnosed. That is the first step i the right direction.

Congrats on getting into the 2x pullover.........that is a major fart!! Sorry about your ulcer.  Hope the meds kick in soon and you get to feeling better quick Loosing over a 100 lbs is a major FART also. You had a big week man.  Take Care!

The good news is awesome.  I'm down to between 1 and 2x myself, from a high of 10X.   As far as cool stuff goes, I think about 80% of what I wear now has some sort of Harley Davidson logo on it.   My wife got me an AWESOME Led Zepplin baseball jersey for Christmas with the '77 Tour logo on the back.  I have ALWAYS wanted a Led Zepplin shirt of some sort, because even as a young guy, Led Zepplin has just been IT for me.  I'll be first in line if they ever come on tour again. At any rate - sounds like the ulcer thing is gonig to be an easy fix.  I'm going to have to have hernia repair one of these days - it looks like I have a softball in my upper right abs from a hernia.  No pain or anything, so I'm lucky there, and it makes it so it's not necessarily a priority to do. But good luck - keep up the good work!!
