20 months out and now a problem
I'm 20 months out and everything has gone smooth until this weekend. Saturday evening I started throwing up and can't even drink water now. Since Friday, I've lost 11 pounds, which I can't afford to lose. I'm having an Endoscopy done tomorrow morning. The specialist thinks maybe I have an ulcer in my esophagus. Not sure if this is related to WLS, but all I know is I'm damn thirsty after not drinking or eating for 3 days.
On a more positive note....Last Monday I started a new job that I was promoted into. Today I was selected for yet another promotion. I'm at the highlight of my life, both personal and professional. It's amazing what self confidence I have now that I am skinny. Life couldn't be better, could it?

Ouch Floyd
if it is not an ulcer, ask about an internal hernia....I was at about your stage when I got one....nasty little boogers...easy to fix when they are detected

i was throwing up just last night. i'm really sick of it. i'm sick at least twice a week and it's getting old. all the bad stuff for me is not wls related but brought on by it. we change so much after the surgery. the endo ought to fle**** out for you. if not expect a cat scan next and ultrasound. let us know. oh, great job on the promotions!
