Dx, how is your Dad?

Hi Dx, I was just wondering how your Dad is doing and how you are holding up?  I know it is hard to go through even if your relationship wasn't previously close.  Your story hit home with me as I recently lost my father and had a distant relationship with him, although that changed somewhat over the last few years.   Just remember you have a lot of guys thinking about you and wishing you peace.

Tim, Thanks for asking. Sorry to hear of your loss as well. We’re in the waiting game at this time. Could be as much as another 3 months But probably less. I got to spend a lot of uninterrupted just talking time With him over the holidays. To be in such dire straights, he’s in remarkable spirits. He’s Morbidly Obese but losing steadily. By the Doctor’s opinion, that has actually prolonged his life Here near the end. His “wasting away” process has more to deal with overall. He’s sleeping about 18 to 20 hours a day now and that amount seems to grow a bit each week. I’m heading out to Texas next weekend to check in again. My Brother has been with him most of this week. I am so thankful for rational siblings. Everyone is at peace, and he is comfortable And free of pain. Just part of life.  Beginnings, middles and ends….. Best Wishes- Dx
