Lymphedema

If any of you have lymphedema,  I just want ot let you know that the Lymphedema Forum on ObesityHelp.com is an excellent source of info.  It's almost encyclopedic.  Just go to Forums> Other Forums> Medical Conditions>Lymphedema.  There are loads of stickies and you find links to other lymphedema support groups as well.

 Actually, I was kinda disappointed since it seems like very rarely does anyone post there ..    what are "stickies"?   how do you get to the links???    A real hot and booming board for LE is the Yahoo newsgroup Men W. Lymphedema, hosted by our lovable leader and founder "Pat" (actually, the founder of almost all the Yahoo lymphedema forums, primary LE long-time patient and LE guru) ..   Pat updates us "Lymph-o-Gents" (a/k/a 'dema Dudes) by posting the latest sicentific reports on LE there .. We also have some pretty animated posting on there among the members and are a pretty tight group, but always welcoming new gents ..

Stickies are posts that ObesityHelp.com puts on forums and they are like Post-It notes--they stay at the top of the forum.  Newer posts go below them; they never get old unless ObesityHelp.com pulls them.  Usually the links are printed in blue and you just put your cursor over them and left click. Although the forum is not active, it does have a wealth of info.  That's where I found out about Pat.  Amy Williams who used to work for ObesityHelp.com was probably the person who started it and kept it going.  She's a remarkable success story.  And, her husband also had successful WLS.
