Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
January 13th!
Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys.
For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest!
For those of you just home—
"Keep Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there,
And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts-
It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
... just hitting your first stall?
It happenes to many....
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact
that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?
And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?
My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179
Me?-
184...Saturday Weight, and up a bit for me.....Back to cutting back on little bits... Or jogging an extra minute or two.....
So, What about YOU?
Keep It Up!!!
Best Wishes-

Capricious; Impulsive, Semi-Predictable
Been a while for me, so here I am.
I'm holding between 280-285.
Down between 367-372 lbs, depending on the day.
However, my wife is going to have the surgery in a few days, and I'm going to go through the introductory diet with her (3wks liquid, 3wks puree'd, etc). I expect this will get things moving again, but if not ..
I'm just THRILLED with losing 370lbs.
I have a hernia that needs to be repaired, but it's not causing any problems, just looks like I have a softball on the upper right quadrant of my abs. They'll probably start the skin removal process when they fix that in a few months. (Earlier if it starts causing problems)
All I have to say is ..
Yeehaw!
Still stuck at 230 since getting as low as 224 in July 07. Been this way since Aug 07. Fear a Maintenance has begun and hte magic window has closed or is closing at this 16th month but have not quit working the program and hoping for that goal of 200. Still, I am doen from 408 heaviest and 374 day of surgery and very happy with my new found health, size, and cyber buds I would never have had the experince of meeting and sharing with had it not been for WLS.
This has been a high point in my life so far and is instigating others It is a good place to be.
Well after dropping to a low of 198 this past week i am up to 200 again. I like it here because then when people ask how much I have lost it is easier to do the math. LOL MUst have been a few too many nuts last night while watching the Patriots.

On the excercise front I have started a slow and easy walking program. So far my back has held up and I have been able to do it without too much pain afterwards. So i am keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I can continue and increase my activity level.
