I just read an invite posted on the OH main message board by Brian so I thought I'd pop in and say hello! :::tossing fluff around::: Laters.

Geez, tough crowd! If you don't like my posting, then ignore it. Isn't that simple? Actually, no, I don't have better things to do. Speaking of impolite, your post on the main message board saying we have alot of fluff was totally unnecessary. You could of made a very simple post inviting men to this forum without all the adjectives. It would of bored me and I wouldn't of come in. Point taken, I hope.

Uh, excuse me Brian, where did I lie? Yes, that was in my reply to you on the whin, er, fluff board. I'm sure the guys here know what to ignore and what not too. You seem to be overly concerned with my posts for some reason. I'm not trying to bait anyone, ok, maybe that's not true, I was focusing on you Brian, lol! I didn't care for your fluff post, so what? I have a right to my opinion as anyone else. You didn't hurt my feelings in the least, I thought I explained that, but you didn't post my entire reply, just the part you wanted too. Ok, this is getting old, I thought it would be worth a few hours of entertainment, that's what I get for thinking. Have a good evening.

Actually, the point Brian was making was that, on the Women's .. errr .. "Main Board", there's a lot of drama, whining, and that sort of thing that 98% of the men out there don 't want to be involved in. I also see that Brian's original post got removed.  How lovely is that?  Brian was just saying, "Hey, come to the Men's board, and you can avoid the BS ..errr .. "fluff" and get to the heart of what Obesity Help is for. Support, not whining. This is a large part of why I don't post at all in the Main Board, and why my wife would rather be a part of the men's board (even though she's respecting it, she'd rather be in here avoiding this crap), is someone will take something I said and turn it into an excuse to start drama. So - as Brian said, and i'm going to be as polite as I can here -  Take the drama elsewhere. Thanks, and Goodnight.

Good grief, I didn't realize saying hi and tossing fluff around was causing drama, glad you cleared that up. Oh and thank you for defining the word fluff, I'll be sure to remember it means whining in the future. Actually, Brian's original post is right where he originally posted it, just saw it because "someone" replied saying he was a newbie and that Brian was just trying to be funny. Amazing how a newbie, who just joined today as a matter of fact, happen to find this post that was hidden from you and just had to make his very post, oh, and only post I might add, to support Brian, hmmm. No worries, I'll leave you boys alone. Since there is so much whining going on, I try to not to be so damn serious all the time, life has enough of that. I realize you have your own opinions of the main board, but that board has helped many, many people, regardless of gender. If you prefer it here, more power to ya, it's all about support in the long run, at least I thought it was.  Good Luck to all of you.

This is the exact kind of drama that drives people away, and seriously makes me hesitate to even post in the men's board. That "newbie" is my WIFE (who is a SHE) that is scheduled for surgery on the 23rd of January and was hoping to find support, only to find someone getting blasted for inviting MEN to the MENS board. As far as "Being more in touch with emotions" - most of us men are completely in touch with our emotions, we just don't have to go on comparing breasts to tube socks, blasting people for being who they are (The way women on the main board like to generalize about men like you do in that very insulting signature) and that sort of thing.   Not to mention that some of the women on the main board like to try to seduce men, even though: A:  We make it crystal clear that we're married and  B:  Obesity Help isn't a meet market. So - suck it up, realize that your presence isn't wanted in the Men's board, and move on.  I tried to be nice.  Now the nice is gone.  If you want beauty over brains because that's what you think men see, then you really need to wake up to the world and meet men outside of your trailer park.
