Friday Morning Coffee Talk

Wanna do the Friday dance?    I'm sure someone will join me!  WOO HOO for Friday.  We are going to have a wonderful day.  Someone will get a raise!  Someone will get a promotion.  Someone will get approved for WLS!  MOST OF US WILL LOSE A POUND OR MANY!  It's going to be a SUPER Friday! Our challenge today is to have a YOU DAY!  Do something, anything for YOU!  Treat yourself to something and enjoy it!  We haven't had a YOU day in a while.  Enjoy yourself today!   So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm enjoying some wonderful Harry & David Coffee.  Sure is good and hitting the spot!  Ya'll have a fun "YOU" day!

The thing I'm doing for me today is going out with my wife and treating my brother to dinner.  His birthday was yesterday, but we normally don't see him in Jan due to the weather.  Knowing we were getting a break with the weather we quickly set this up. Plus, we're anxious to talk to him about his recent ski vacation to Austria with his youngest son who is 19.  We've already viewed about 100 pix that he posted on the internet. It just occured to me that I do enjoy going through thumbs or slideshows that friends or relatives post on the web.  Just think that this sort of stuff didn't even exist a short while ago.  The next generation just thinks it's commonplace.  I'm getting old.

Never developed the coffee habit. I used to get my caffeine overdose from drinking about 2 liters of coke per day, but since the surgery I haven't had any and it doesn't seem to bother me. I get to go watch my younger daughter play a varsity basketball game tonight. Sounds like I'm doing something for her, and I am, but it's good for me too. Except I'll get steamed at the refs for being totally incompetent, and get steamed at her coach for being the dumbest ***** in the whole world, but other than that it'll be good for me.
