I use the Magic Bullet blenders. I have one at home and work and they work perfectly. I use GNC 100% Whey Protein Bannana Cream flavor. It has 20g of protein per scoop and I'll usually have 1.5 to 2 scoops per shot. I put around 4oz of water in the blender cup along with the protein powder, blend it up and then shoot it like a shot. I HATE the taste of protein shakes / smoothies and I've always just wanted to get it over with and go on with my day so that's why I adopted that method.
The calculation for protein consumption is actually based on your lean body mass and not your total weight. My lean body mass with my body fat percentage being around 13% is 160ish pounds. I'm also not taking into account the weight of my bones, organs, tissues, etc. so the calculation is far from perfect. I try to support each pound of muscle with 1g-1.5g of protein and thats how I end up with 200g of protein per day. Some of that is meat at dinner time but I will usually get in around 150g - 180g per day in protein shots.
