Steve, I went with RNY and am awaiting word.  It's a tough choice and I hope I made the right one.  I know as soon as the weight starts dropping off I will be glad I made the choice. Good luck to you. Guy

Could also be a plastic allergy. You could contact the your CPAP provider to see what options they have. Not to imply a comparison, but I have a cat that has an allergy to plastic. If we feed him in a plastic bowl he gets an inflamed lip, but is fine with ceramic or metal. I also have between the eyebrow dandruff. Can look a little goofy. Joe

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, it is used to treat sleep apnea. A full mask covers the whole face, some also just cover the nose. They also have devices that up put in your nose, I think they are called nasal pillows.  Search CPAP or sleep apnea.  Prior to surgery I used a cpap machine, but no more.  pan head

I have the Nasal Pillows and when I wake my nose is extremly oily I wash with a anti bacterial soap so far no major outbreaks.  I use the heated water attachment to keep air a little moist. On  deck also awaiting a RNY in April Eddie
