Lost 100% of weight
i'm in westchester near marina del rey. many lives ago i owned the carwash and detail shop at the wilshire courtyard and also museum square across the street. you know the courtyard is where all the movie and tv companies like aaron spelling and such are at. they film there all the time like demolition man. anyway, you probably know the building. i used to have a dealership and carwash/detailing facilities in the city and that was one of them. i love that area. kitty corner from the tar pits! i still head that way now and then so we'll keep in touch. later...carbonblob
as i mentioned before, your journey and mine are very close. we were almost identical in weight and results. my g/f made sure i put a disclaimer out there that i put on the response to Dx. i'm in a better situation than most to dedicate myself to exercise. truth is i would be gaining a lot more weight if i didn't work out so much. this year is the time i'm going to really get my head and ass wired together and be honest and make an attempt to keep weight off now that i can gain it back. let's keep comparing notes and i'm so glad you decided to come back and post. i did the exact same thing. felt guilty about changing my program and stopped posting here. no more, gonna keep on track like you. so have a great time it sounds like a blast. let us know all about it.....carbonblob
Fred,
I think you are truly a WLS Superstar!
Yeah, I’m tied to a computer 14 hours a day
And spend about 4 hours of that time
Waiting for the dam thing to catch up to me….J
I haven’t used an eraser (the most valued tool of my past)
In over 5 years now. If it weren’t for that,
Think of all the time I’d have to spend out walking and running!
My ‘babbles’ and Re-Posts help me pass the time
While waiting for files to print or catapult from one
program to the other.
Sure beats lighting a cig and washing down a Snickers Bar with
yet another Diet Coke! J
I was so glad when OH (back then – AMOS)
Started The Men’s Board.
The Drama and whining of the Main Board was often unbearable.
Since then, I have joined up with QuixoticWLS
back when it started in October of ’06.
http://quixoticwls.org/forums/index.php
Back when the previous Moderator of OH
was in charge, just the mention of it could get me banned here.
There, my posts are "run of the mill."
Quix is the only "Not-for-Profit" WLS Message Board / Org
out here on the web (that I know of)
Thus, the lack of ads, and
Lack of "$ponsor friendly" slant to admin / moderatoration.
Like the Men’s Board here, there’s a lot of unvarnished truth about things.
No candy coating.
More importantly, It also has some of the "Info-All-Stars"
of all of the other WLS Boards.
Great Folk from Fatblog, OH, RenewedReflections, Duodenal Switch(info-Zone)Support Forum, several of the YaHoo Groups,
and even some BariatricEating ex-patriots.
Sort of the "Deep Space 9" of WLS Message Boards.
Or "Casablanca."
We just got our "501(c)(3) Non-Profit status"
and moved to our new Board site on the web.
Now in my "little blocks of Break time"
I’ll be trying my hand at writing grants to fund even more info.
I really am fascinated by all of the research surrounding WLS
And the Life-Changes it brings about.
Odd "hobby," but one that keeps me busy in my little glimpses
Of Down time…..
Keep up the exercise and Moving toward Health!
You are an inspiration to many that you will never even know about!
Best Wishes-
Dx
