Reminder for new WLS guys...
A quick reminder for men who have just had WLS. You really will drop the weight fast most likely. You will also blow through pant and shirt sizes. Don't do what I have done (unless you have the big bucks), go out and buy new clothes. I went out and bought over $200. of new shirts and pants. Within 10 days to 2 weeks I was out of them and I couldn't use them again. Try and go back into your closet and find the smaller sizes. Also ask friends and family for old clothes you'll go through in a few weeks (inbetween sizes). My last thought...Salvation Army or Good Will thrift stores. Again you'll think your done at a size so you start to buy clothes for that size...then realize it was just a stall for awhile. Enjoy the ride...Brian

That's what I did, too. And not just Dockers, but Men's Wearhouse.
I'm glad I lost weight already, but if I could do it again!
UGH!
ABSOPLUTELY 100% CORRECT!!
I made it a weekly venture to visit every good will that I could as I went throught my daily travels.
Not only did I get some nice things. I met nice people. I was helping people with jobs in their communuity.
And
I saved money!!!
Really guys, I picked up a Joseph A Banks Blazer with tags still in plase for $5.99. Not the $199.00 that it had been, Shirts too. My favorites now that I am slimmer are sweaters. Back me up guys. Aren't we always cold. Or at least chillier now that some of our insulation is gone. I swear that my fingers and feet are gonna crack off some days.
I teach and the heat is set at 66 which feels like about 50 somedays in our building.
Anyway. enjoy the shopping....I did.

Oh yea, big time. I used to always be the guy in shorts and a t-shirt when everyone was wearing a sweater and long pants and I they were amazed I was never cold. But these days, I need to wear a jacket outside now. But it's a small price to pay!
