Pan Head toast

All went well. She was beautifull, of course. I can tell the way my SIL looks at her with those big puppy dog eyes that he has it bad. I prepared a little toast, I plagiarized some quotes I found on the internet and printed it out. Studied it and memorized it, then when the time come I said the hell with it and told them that I had prepaired and toast but I wasn't going to give it. I said some thing about her growing up so fast. I told him that I was sure we would come to love him because I know my daughter and she obviously saw that he is a kind and caring person and I was sure that we would also. That's not it word for word but that is kind of the jist of it.  Everyones advice that I got here about speaking from the heart was right. What I found was that in the process of looking for a toast, that I was trying to find other peoples words to describe my feelings for her, but in doing so it helped me find my own words to say. So even though I didn't have them written down I had tought about it enough in the process that I it worked about best just to wing it. Even though she is his wife, she wil always be my little girl.
