I attended my first OA meeting.
I think that it is very smart of you to do the head thing before the stomach thing. I think the head thing is more of an issue in many WLS patients. Anyway, the one I attended Sat was in Gales Ferry which is in Ledyard. It is right between the casinos. You can check the OA site. They do have a lot across the state.

O.K. I just have to ask this .. &:-x)
Most 12-step meetings they provide little snacks, coffee, etc. to eat and drink .. so what do they do in the way of that at an OA meeting? &:-D)
(I used to joke about Sexaholics Anonymous meetings: if they provide hot coffee at AA meetings, what do they provide at "sober" SA meetings? nuns and priests?) &:-D) &:-D)
