Tattoos

I was reading Paul's license plate post and started thinking that eventually I would like to commemorate this chapter of my life in ink.  I have seen some cool tats on here in peoples posts.  Anyone out there have tats for their WLS or planning to?  Any good ideas out there?

Hey Paul... Strange you should mention it... I had a small tattoo on my left bicep, that always need to be reworked...about 13 years ago, my roomie, did a great rework on paper...but I was always too insecure to have something that bold... but I lost the weight, and worked out my arms a little....and had it done...it is great....I love it...it does not say former fattie, but I know what it is... 13 years in waiting....but I got it now Russ

I've alwasy been facinated by tattoos and think that after I have the surgury and lose the weight, what ever I lose will become my first tattoo.  Something like just what ever I lose, 100lbs or what ever it was.  Then when people ask I can tell them that is how much weight I lost.

My dad passed away about 2 years ago from a heartattack because of his size. That is why I got the surgury. When I get down to my goal weight I am going to get a tat for his memory and something to show my weight loss. Just don't know why yet.

My dad was obese all his life and finally died three years ago from a heart attack.  As a kid we used to call each other "big gator and little gator" so my tatoo is going to be two cartoonish gators with one bigger than the other to honor him and help me honor me as well and the choices I made

I have been flirting with the idea of getting a Phoenix tattooed onto my shoulder, but I haven't had the courage. I also haven't found Phoenix image that I really like.

I have a third tattoo planned for my right arm. When I drop my 1st 100 lbs I plan on getting it done as a momento to my weight loss. I have it all ready to go. It is a tat of St Michael with the sword over his head and his foot crushing the head of the demon. I call it "Slaying my Demons" My tattoo artist is waiting on me..LOL.
