Does it really get bigger?

Hey guys, just wondering abut something I've heard about. I keep reading about how the penis gets bigger after weight loss or that it doesn't actually get bigger, that as you lose the excess weight, the fat in the pelvic area decreases or goes away and your able to see more clearly what you actually have to work with down there. Is there any truth to that? What are some of your experiences with this subject?

I conducted my own scientific investigation into this phenomenon and can report that in my own experience, in a carefully controlled experiment, I have in fact gained an inch after losing approximately 100 pounds. I assume it is due to the loss of fat in the pelvis, specifically at the base of the penis. While I don't think it actually GROWS, I believe the reduction in surrounding fat does give you more to work with.

(what War said)    This issue comes up all the time, ever since that doctor spoke on Oprah about this "phenomenon" some time back ..  (I can't believe how many gals on AOL have IMed me with this question since they found out about my 200 lb. weight loss!)    Drs. Oz and his medical partner reported recently in You On A Diet that supposedly the first 30-40 lbs. or so yields an inch or so in increased length, and that some additional increase occurs as weight loss continues ..   IMHO it's not really so much an actual measurable difference of any great amount but the fact that it appears a lot larger/longer w/o all that "manmons" fat around the base of it, that causes the "WTF???" before and after differences   .     I know one of the first things I plan on having done in plastics is removal of the loose "manmons" skin (which is quite ample now - ugh!) and lipo of the remaining fat at the base of my unit, which will likely add some additional length  --   even more than what I had before I gained weight .

Hi Guys, All I can say is YES it does appear to be larger.  And I don't know about all this one inch stuff.  I lost 176 pounds and it is clearly 3-4 inches longer.   Of course I didn't start out with the mini model either. WAD

Um.. my wife says there is already a difference 4 weeks out....  and it is already much easier to go to the restroom, as well as bathing.  I'd say tho, as others said, it's from less fat in the way.   It is nice to wipe without dislocating my shoulder.. LOL.  Ah, c'mon 200 more pounds! heh heh...  may be too much info, but hey, this is the men's forum... I'm looking forward to 'Parking"  in a car again!  Haven't been able to do that in a while ..  .   Do your part for the environment.. steam up yer windows and moon a cop! Dale

My wife and I have noticed a difference.  I think it is because of the lost weight making it look longer.  I've only lost 70lbs and have gained 1-2 inches.
