Bob McQueen Back in Hospital - Again

Gentlemen, I received a call from Bob McQueen this weekend. Unfortunately it was to let me know that once again he's back in University Hospital in Columbia, MO. The fistula he's been dealing with for the past 2-3 months developed several more leaks. Hoping the fistula would eventually heal on it own was obviously not working. So, last week Bob had surgery and explained that the strategy to address the fistula now is to isolate it to a specific area. The surgery went fine which is the upside...there's light at the end of the tunnel. However there's a downside in that addressing the fistula once and for all will require a lengthy hospital stay estimated to be a month and a half or more. Bob wanted to be at home with his family and friends at Christmas, but after a great deal of prayer and discussions with his wife Lori, they decided what's one Christmas - if he can get healthy it's an acceptable trade-off. Bob specifically wanted me to tell the Men's Board that he's so appreciative of all the thoughts and prayers you've sent his way the past few months.
