is this norm
I am 6 months out from GBS i am down 100lbs.
but i have been having pain in my pelvic area and this morning i had blood in my stool
Bright red blood.
the only problem i have is i moved out of state from where i had the surgery and i just got medical insurance and my doctor has yet to refer me to a Surgian for follow up
please help, is this norm?
Has the bleeding continued all day? "Pelvic area" is somewhat non-specific. If you feel pain right at your anus when you take a dump and see fresh blood perhaps it is not a big deal.
If you feel constant pain and you continue to bleed then I would be concerned and would call my doctor tonight (even though he is not your surgeon), or if it continues, I would consider going to the ER.
