Topic: Not doing so hot, where are you?

PLEASE HELP!

I'm walking in the Walk From Obesity in Massachusetts on April 30th, that's 24 days away.

I've got a team that is "this big."  I've got donations that are "this small."

Last year I raised almost $2500.00 for the Walk.  (Also, the year before...etc.)

I just raised the equivalent of about $3000.00 in memberships for the OAC's Membership Drive last week.

I'm not doing too hot here.

Don't make me sweat for no cause, kids. I don't sweat on purpose for ANY reason.  You don't think I am serious, I am.  *grin*  Add to that, I'm going to be sweating by myself, with my boo-boo.  *tear.

Please join me?  If you are local enough - do it.  If not - donate.

Topic: RE: Plastic surgery???
We just had a plastic surgeon as a speaker at our support group last night. His name is Christopher Davidson and he practices in Wellsley (surgery at Newton Wellsley or Tufts). He said almost nothing is covered by insurance - he may be able to get a panniculectomy covered but thats it. He did have a lot of good information.

Just wondering how it went any details would be apriciated.
How long did you stay?
How was your recovery time?
What did they use to seal you up? Stitches...staples...glue...ect.
Did you have to have a drain?
What kind of pain meds?
Who was your surgeon?
Did they give you a catheter? <----I am so freaked out by catheters..I hope not. Lol.

You dont have to answer all the questions ANY info would be helpful...I am just starting the whole process.....

Oh!!! Also!!! If you went through Mass Health or Neighborhood Health Plan....how long from the starting process until your surgury date?
