Struggling With the Liquid Diet Post Surgery

I made fake chilli when I was on my clear liquids. 1 can of beef broth, a good splash of tomato juice, chili powder, garlic powder, and large chunks of Onionm and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer until veg is soft. Strain out veg, and eat with a spoon. It satisfied the salty need, the "real food" flavor need, and the warm food need all at once.

I feel likek I'm the expert on "soups" all pureed that qualify as semi-liquid.  I take leftover chicken add roasted veggies with a cream soup base, cook it up, then pureed with my Magic Bullet.  The roasted veggies are my own, spicy and flavorful...the chicken adds extra protein.  It's a win-win.  I also make my own French onion soup.  Flavorful hamburg soup the same way as the chicken.  You can make it a fake me out taco, or old fashion gravy by just adding spices.  Get some chicken broth or cream soup bases and start experimenting!
